This past weekend Sim and I moved from a one-bedroom unit to a two-and-a-half-bedroom house. It was a weekend filled with heavy lifting, cardboard boxes, two distressed cats and a whole lotta take away (we’re still waiting for our gas to be connected…well, that’s our excuse anyway).
My all time favourite foundation for the last 6 months has been the L’Oreal True Match foundation. I picked up my first bottle from Boots when I was in the London last year and after seeing a lot of recommendations online I was excited to try it! Since then, L’Oreal have released a new and improved formula for the True Match range and I’ve finally picked up a bottle in a lighter shade to suit my current Casper-white complexion.
It’s time to wrap up the mini month of February and reflect on the things that have been rocking my world these past few weeks…
I’m the kind of gal who is always on the hunt for new skincare items. If it promises to exfoliate, cleanse, moisturise or balance – I’m pretty much sold. And aside from making me a beauty-marketer’s dream customer, it also means I end up testing a lot of different skincare lotions & potions. At the moment, I’m really happy with my skincare routine so take a peep into my beauty stash to see which products are currently rocking my world.
This month’s favourites have a bit of a British theme running throughout as I’ve recently arrived home from a marvellous trip to the UK. Some of these items I actually picked up while I was in London, where the sun was shining and the city was alive with the sounds of hustle & bustle. Now that I’m back home in Melbourne, I’m wearing triple-layered outfits with thermal socks and feeling somewhat reminiscent of my sunshine times in the UK, but I digress. Here are my absolute favourites for the month of July!
September marks the beginning of Spring in Australia and I must say, I’m quite looking forward to some warmer weather in windy, wintery Melbourne. But before I get ahead of myself, here’s a re-cap on what’s been keeping me comfy during the month of August.
