This video is a little different to my usual bookish content… in this one, I’m running you through my entire handbag collection!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past five-ish years, you’ll know that generally, as a society, we’re having more discussions about the issues that surround our plastic consumption, mostly thanks Craig Reucassel’s fantastic ABC TV show War on Waste.
As someone who commutes to work for over two hours a day, I can’t express enough how much I love and need podcasts. Different from investing a chunk of time in listening to an entire audio book, popping on a podcast is an ideal way to drift off into another world for an hour or two – and perhaps learn a thing or two at the same time!
If you’re a lover of all things cosy and Autumnal, then you’ll be as chuffed as I was to discover these lovely handcrafts from Once Upon a Whim.
Sim and I recently took a short trip to Sydney. Since moving to Melbourne a couple of years ago, I haven’t quite found a place I love as much as my new hometown, and although Sydney is a very cool place, it doesn’t quite have the character, creativity and grunge that Melbourne does. But, in saying that, we had a great time!
It’s time for me to wrap up and share with you the things that have been floating my boat during January and February. See something you fancy? Links to everything I mention in this video can be found in the description box and at the end of this post. What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below!
For those of you who watched my recent Life Update video, you will know that Sim and I are in the process of buying a house. The movie is imminent! So there’s no better time than now to have a browse through my favourite homewares shops to get some inspiration and ideas for decking out the new place.
