If you’re a booklover and you’ve been to Melbourne, then I assume you have spent at least a few hours browsing the bookshelves at one of the gorgeous Readings bookshops. Readings is not only one of my favourite bookshops of all time, but it is also host to the Readings Young Adult Book Prize.
I thought it was about time I hauled these marvellous books that have recently hit my shelves, so here it is!
As some of you may know, I recently took a trip to New York with my university where I was lucky enough to hear from and meet a lot of publishing companies that are producing amazing work in the States and internationally. The publishing industry is a relatively small market in Australia, and I was blown away by the size, capacity and diversity of book publishing in America.
I’m wrapping up all the things I’ve been loving this past two months in one video! I’m talking ASOS purchases, books, podcasts, YouTube, skincare and more! What have you been loving this month?
While I was in New York, I was lucky enough to visit a few publishing houses and book shops. I picked up quite a few books I’m excited to read, so, naturally, I made a video to share it all with you guys. Take a peak!
It’s currently autumn in Australia and as the seasons change, so too do our wardrobes. In the last couple of weeks I’ve picked up a few transitional fashion pieces to combat the colder chill in the air. I’ve also included some recent bath and body treats, accessories and my favourite magazine subscription in a collective haul. Keen to have a gander? Click the video below to see what’s new in my wardrobe and on my shelf:

This past weekend Sim and I moved from a one-bedroom unit to a two-and-a-half-bedroom house. It was a weekend filled with heavy lifting, cardboard boxes, two distressed cats and a whole lotta take away (we’re still waiting for our gas to be connected…well, that’s our excuse anyway).
There’s nothing quite like a great audio book to keep you entertained on a long journey. The only thing? Audio books in CD format are so darn expensive! But don’t fret, I have the answer: BorrowBox.
It’s around about that time where we feel reflective of the year that has been while also starting to plan and look forward to all that is to come in the new year ahead. I thought it would be a good time to browse my bookshelf and pick out my most-loved books of 2015.
